“oh… corsets can be worn with just about anything Chloe – at least to me.

I have lots of sheer and see-through material clothings that can go perfectly well with a nice-almost-same-tone corset inside. And the turquiose oriental piece, can do with a kebaya set as the inner tubing piece. I do not like the idea of putting a sheer blouse with a set of nice looking bra on the inside. A beautiful corset is more elegant that showing too much flesh.

I find that wearing corsets is up to how an individual want to fashion it – be it casual or for a glamourous night, it is the wearer’s pick. I wore the white bridal piece with a pair of 3/4 white pants and it looks great with a pair of silver sandals for a casual day out. I can put-on a grey thin sweater/baby jacket over it in malls if the aircon is cold. The violet piece has lace and frills, can be worn for a night out with a bunch of friends on its own with a pair of skinny jeans and high pumps. Same goes for the black lace piece that I bought too. If one is going for a more lady-like look, a pair of pencil skirt that matches it with a nice cutting blazer, and high pumps goes great for a corporate look with a little kinky-bite with it.

.. I believe in setting the trend and not following the trend. I like to go with the principle of “Dress as how it makes you gorgeous and beautiful, and not what is in trend today”. So, corsets are nice pieces to play around with when it comes to dressing and fashion. By-gone are those days that corsets are only intimate lingerie…
